Ok, got the monthly DELL newsletter this morning and the January sales are on.

I looked at this pc..

Intel P4 Processor 2.88 GHz
512mb ram (plus double memory until the end of january, so atcuali 1024MB RAM.

80GB HDD - extra 40 pounds for 120GB.

This costs a measly 129 POUNDS!

You could buy new mobo for about 50 quid, then new case, about 30, so you could have an ok pc for about 200.

Shall I buy it?? What you guys think?

It's such a cheap pc that it's actually not worth buying at all (is it even pci ex). I wouldn't waste my money on that comp. I would just save up until I have enough for a more up-to-date pc, preferably an amd. The p4, assuming that it's the prescott core, is dead. Not worth it.

£129?

There has to be something wrong with it if it's only that much.

Does it come with a monitor and keyboads and stuff?

Comes with k/board, mouse speakers, (nice logitech ones)

for an extra 100, you can have one realli nice dell TFT. ive got 3 spare though
