What do you do when you upgrade?

I wasn't being paranoid I was just having a laugh (hey, we've all conned the insurance company at least once, might as well claim back as much as you can, eh?).

well, I just wanted a new vid card and ram.
Well I need pci-e for my desired vid card so a new mobo too.
Also need more powerfull psu to run the new card.

That's all of the ones I would need, but then I also got a new case coz I don't like this old one, and a new hdd because my 120Gb just ain't enough.

So then when it comes down to it the only part left from my old computer is the cpu, and I might use the other hdd aswell.

I usually just upgrade one part at a time, not a complete overhall. But when socket m2 comes out I might doing pretty much a complete overhall. Well not at first but when my computer becomes outdated.

When socket M2 does come out will that mean all the prices will go down?

They should hopefully. It would be cool if the price of DDR memory started coming down once it starts becoming dated.
