My ping in games is around 800!

Well I don't know how it can make it go that high. But basicly it just uses all of the available bandwidth, so it takes a long time for the game to communicate because it doesn't have much bandwidth.

U could always block the port that he uses, or u could just block him out of the whole router

Just download the batsard some porn on limewire when you go to sleep and let him beat off to that so he doesn't download anymore

K well your ping should NOT be that high, even if 2 people were downloading porn. Anything downloading while you're playing a game should only make your ping aroun 300 MAX, which still isn't playable but 800 is a little concerning. What internet connection do you have, and are you running a firewall?

dude.. how do you know 300 max. Dont talk with your head up your ass. (lol) Seriously, i know some ping commands, and i can get it to 1500. Dont know how it happened but anyways. Limewire did the same thing, when i was downloading songs. I was at a lan with some freinds, and fiber internet. So i got on limewire, to get new songs (cause i listen to music, when playing cs) and limewire, made almost everyone time out. TRUST ME ON THIS. ITS LIMEWIRE!! Its just what happens with p2p. It slows down any internet. Other then like government internet, and business stuff. But yeah, for home connections, it decreases it by alot. And 300 was just a random number of yours you dont know that for sure. And 311 is playable for me. just to let you know.

300 ZOMG! Roflcopter, I play with 400+ pretty much all the time and i still own most of them people with like a 40 ping so i dunno how much experience you had with 56k :O Though after you played with like 1.5mbps you probably would think play with my lag was bad. Lol, i has an 8000 ping once with no commands or anything can't remember what i was doing rofl.

Well maybe it's my internet, but whenever I play with Limewire on, it sits at 300.... I use DSL 768k so maybe that's it. But no arrizx, I'm not talking with my head up my ass, maybe you just have bad internet or something. Or you download a big file or download form a good server. On Limewire, shit moves at like 2 kbps.

Limewire sucks, anyway. Send your brother to BitTorrent and have him search for porn on there.
