My computer bits, I ordered at the beginning of December 2005 have finally arrived.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ (Socket 939) - Retail
Gigabyte K8N Pro SLi nForce4 SLi (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard
OCZ 4GB (4 x 1GB) PC3200 Dual Channel Platinum Series CAS2
BFG GeForce 7800 GTX OC 256MB (2 x in SLI mode) GDDR3 VIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

Wow, now this is fast.......

Just going to do a benchmark, without overclocking it.

How do all you people get the money for all this stuff!?...I really pushed the boat out with my AMD 64 3500+.

we go to work. Atleast that's how I get money.
And I'm guessing that other ppl work too, or use their dads money.

i do have an interview tomorrow though!

i dont buy much other than computer parts,, needing to save for a car though. dam i hope i get this job tomorrow

Well I work for a UK company called Telewest Broadband as a Network engineer, with a average monthly wage of 14700 UK pounds :p

lol nice specs. what do u get from bench because i feel that ur processor kinda bottlenecks ur 7800gtx's in sli just being its a 4200. but i wanna c the benches though because ive never really compared my system to a dual core.

I use to have telewest broadband but had to move and the area im in now has not got coverage.

I think it's because I'm a Networks engineer and an RF engineer for all of the Yorkshire area.

It may sound like good money, but they make you work for it, very long hours inc weekend.

No social life as well, but I'm going to retire at 50 :D
