i dont have a server or anyting, but i know what cpannel is because someone let me play around with there's, but anyway is cpannel a program that runs on the server or is it like a webpage that has all the controls for the server? please give me all the details.

ok, well basically cpanel is a control for your site, it can be things like to access your web emails, to installing web features, it also controls what files are on your server and displays things like your web bandwith. i basically use it to upload my websites. for more information read here: http://www.cpanel.com/

Cpanel is basicly, a control panel for people to control they're website, look at statistics and use of storeage, bandwidth etc.. WHM is what is used to control a perticular server, you'd only use this if you were renting a dedicated server.
