Budget PC

Hi guys,
I'm posting on behalf of a friend who wants to get a new pc. His budget is AUD$3000 (aprrox US$2000).
He will be using it for games and multimedia and won't be able to upgrade again for about 2 years.
Here is the skeleton We have worked out.

AMD Athlon 4000+ (AUD$600)
200GB Wester Digital SATA2 HDD (AUD$200)
Pioneer DVR-110D (AUD$90)

He needs a mother board and Graphics card.

Potential Video Cards:

Albatron 7800GT (AUD$609)
XFX 7800GTX (AUD$729)
Leadtek Extreme PX7800GT (AUD$684)

He needs all the help he can get and I can only give him so much...

Does he plan on using SLi? If so, get this:

Oh wait a minute, it's for a budget PC??!?! That's a bummer. Those parts are so nice, maybe Australian conversion would make it cheaper...
