best 6800/7800 under $400?

That's the exact same one I have, but the clock rate is higher than advertised which is a good thing

well, i was looking at the evga 6800gt 512 mb, is that going to outperform a 256 mb 7800gt?

what is the ATI equivalent to the nvidia 6800gt?

No, the 6800ultra 512mb will NOT outperform the 7800gt. Pixel pipelines will have a better effect. Plus, higher clock speeds. At least to my understanding. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. The equivilant of a 6800gt is an x850xt. The 512mb version I guess. Or an x1600xl. Either one.
