Wondering, New Processor? ..Apart from AMD and Intel?

if i were ibm i would continue to make cpu's in contracts but also market my own, they were once the top computer company and now they seem to rely on other companies to get buy

Well the thing is that they usually develop processors through contracts. The PowerPC line has always been their own line, but processors like the Xbox 360's tri-core, the PlayStation 3's Cell processor and the Revolution's processor are all through contracts. Heck, sometimes I wonder how IBM even manages to fabricate and manufacture all those CPU's at once, because once all those console launch, the fabs are going to be producing A LOT.
