possible to download a cd-rw drive?

my windows 98 pc ive had for 6 years didnt come with a cd burner, so i wanted to know if there was any way to download one off internet if so can someone give me a link to the site.

Uhh, tell me how can you download hardware. You need to BUY a CD burner

ROFL. Anyways, might as well get a DVD burner. These days, it's just as cheap as a plain CD-RW drive and since DVDs are so common now, it's a good idea to get a DVD burner instead:

Ha, don't be mean man, I remeber when I used to think that I could put a CPU in animals and shit, but this is pretty good. Hope it ain't a bot, a few forums I go to get attacked by them. ANyways kid, you need to buy it. And while your at it, get a new Windows, try XP.

But yeah, just get a dvd burner, the price difference is almost nonexistent.

u can download software, but cd burner is hardware.
And u can get a cheap dvd burner with $30.

you can download Software mening of a Brning program that will ease to use the CD burner, but yu need a burner, and this is hardware
