ac adapters

i've been buying car/wall adapters for various electronics, and i've been getting them at radioshack...it seems like its kind of a ripoff. its about 20 to 30 dollars for one adapter, and im assuming it probably costs less than 10 dollars to make one...where can i get adapters for less money?

Yes indeed RadioShack is rip off ... i would usuly goto the hobby store or look around my grage for some ac power supplys like 12 v and stuff can you belive they charge 3 bux for 30 hex nuts? there as small as a grain of rice -_-

yeah, all their 6v 9v adapters are like 20-30 dollars; i got something that converts a car cigarette lighter to a wall outlet..it was like 30 bucks on sale, and it wasnt even the best one..i needed it for a trip so i didnt really have time to look anywhere else, but thanks ill try and find some hobby stores
