Some Questions I need answering plz

i just got a new laptop for crimbo, and when i close the lid down and open it up a min after it has disconnected me from aol and i have to keep re-connecting, how do i stop it from doing this?

i dont think you can. do you have broadband internet or dial up?

To stop it disconnecting when you close the lid down do this:
Control Panel<Power Options
And try and find something that says When I close the Lid: and then it will have a drop down list under it and put it to "Do Nothing".

Not to be an asshole (can I say that?) but if you typed better and in sentences someone would have helped you sooner and better.

when you close the lid, it enters standby, so just like a pc, unless its broadband, you have to reconnect
