Optical Mouse

ok i reasontly got a new optical mouse and wireless keyboard for christmas. anyways the mouse isnt very responsive so i tohught it was the surface area. wat kind of surface area should it be on? its a mircrosoft wireless keybard and mouse. and happy x-mas

anything but reflective surface. I have it on my oak desk. Any desk should work. Just don't put it on a mirror, glass, or a high gloss surface.

Yeah, make sure the surface isn't different toned because it'll track one, then when you hit the other color, it'll skip.

lol to lazy. is there like gaming mousepads out now? are they any good?

I use something called a Wowpad and it works wonders. It's big, designed for optical mouses, and my mouse will just glide across the surface with ease. Works very well for gaming, too.
