TV output not working right

i just bought a x800GTO from Newegg and it didnt even come with a manual!

I'm trying to hook up my Computer to my TV. i can get somewhat of a picture on my TV but it doesnt show good at all the picture is all messed up with lines and its only black and white. im using the cord with a Green/Red/Blue end to it where u hook up the Yellow/Red/White end to it.

is there a certain way i hook up the Yellow/Red/White to the Green/Red/Blue?

You're trying to use your TV as your monitor? Try using the S-Video cable.

nonono, im trying to use my tv as a clone to my monitor. like my tv will be display 2 and my monitor display 1.


also should it be on certain settings like resolution, refresh rate, ect.?

k im using the S-video cord but the TV screen is flickering and moving down and stuff

I think you need to make sure you set the TV to recieve Aux input. Channel 3 and set Video input. Try that and see what happens.

Nice!! i got it, it was running on a wrong signal. i had to set it to M/NTSC which is the signal used here in america i guess?
