Hey guys I'm a firm believer in value ram just because I have tested side by side a value ram from corsair and then the same amount and speed with there XMS series and the benchmarks are only a few points higher with the XMS. Well I got some money to blow on some computer parts and I'm getting some memory and a few other things

AMD 3800+
abit kn8 (or maybe the sli version haven't decided yet)
geforce 6800gs (MSI or PNY haven't decided yet)
and some RAM

either gonna get 2 x 1gb Valueselect Corsair

Or just spend a few extra bucks and get the XMS stuff

feel free to comment on which brand of video card or board I should get too. Was thinking of spending a bit more and getting the amd 4000+ sandiego.. but the only thing I play a lot is world of warcraft.. and not much of a performance increase there. Thanks.. all you computer junkies.

I would get the XMS. It's got that pretty looking heatspreader on there to help with OCing (heat dissipation). eVGA, BFG Tech, and XFX make good video cards. Most of the tiime, these companies have OC versions too. CPU is up for grabs. Whatever you can afford. I would get the 4000+ though or better yet, dual core.
