What is the best spyware protection and virus protection that is free of charge. Right now i am using AVg and mircosoft spyare thing. besides this what would make my couputer go slower then usuall

IF you need a good free firewall use Zone Alarm, I think it is the best.

AntiVir is another great AV.
I use spybot, ad-aware and spywareblaster for my anti-spyware.

Get NOD32 Antiviris. It's better then Norton, AVG, and a bunch of other antivirus programs. Then get Spybot Search & Destroy, along with Adaware 6.0 SE and a Malware remover. Along with Zone Alram Firewall.
