Top 10 reasons Intel will not participate in the Dual Core Duel

I wonder what it'd be like if we lived in a communist society...I wonder if MS Office and Windows would exist...

we would all get windows xp, and everyone would have the same computer, and everyone would use the same toilet paper since communism sucks my hoo hoo.

lol, yeah, but it'd be funny, seeing Bill Gates on the same money as me and you.

Still, if it was a rich government, everyone could have an Athlon 64 with 1GB Dual-Channel RAM, 74GB Raptor, and a decent GPU. :D

.....u wish if the government had money theyd invest it back into the damn country or buy the dictator a porsche.

Do not associate communism with dictators because they're completely different things. True communism is actually very good, probably better than capitalism, but since humans will be humans, that has never been done. You can thank Karl Marx for your full-time eight hour workday, because he's the one who came up with the idea that everyone should work about eight hours a day. That's the problem that most of us have...we associate communism with a dictatorship when the are completely different things. Since we unfortunately associate it with dictators it equals evil, which it doesn't. You can thank Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong for that.

Although you can easily say that both of those Communist leaders are in essence dictatorial, or like Benito Mussolini, totalitarian, the idea of Communism is completely different from what they did. I guess you could say they developed their own kind of communism, or they strayed from what Communism really is.

Wikipedia - Communism said:
Communism refers to a theoretical system of social organization and a political movement based on common ownership of the means of production. As a political movement, communism seeks to establish a classless society. A major force in world politics since the early 20th century, modern communism is generally associated with The Communist Manifesto of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, according to which the capitalist profit-based system of private ownership is replaced by a communist society in which the means of production are communally owned, such as through a gift economy. Often this process is said initiated by the revolutionary overthrow of the bourgeoisie (see Marxism), passes through a transitional period marked by the preparatory stage of socialism (see Leninism). Pure communism has never been implemented, it remains theoretical: communism is, in Marxist theory, the end-state, or the result of state-socialism. The word is now mainly understood to refer to the political, economic, and social theory of Marxist thinkers, or life under conditions of Communist party rule.

Just so you know what you're talking about next time, here is the Wiki for Communism. You should read it because you'll learn a lot.

Haha, you wish.

well comunisim works best for smaller countries, however large ones, like russia suffered greatly. and it would not fly in the USA

No crap...that's because America revolves around the whole idea of individualism and the right for everyone to choose their own paths. That's why capitalism works for the US. No one in the USA wants to have the government own everything while everyone shares everything together.

Yeah, Communism does work well with smaller countries.
