NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 multiple monitor not working...

Ok, got this new card, very good so far, 128mb TV out, VGA and DVI. I dont use the TV because I just watch movies on my computer screen, anyway, I have one monitor connected to the VGA output, and the DVI to VGA adapter in the DVI output, I have two monitors connected, but it clones the screen, so I have two screens with the same thing on them. I want to be able to have things on one screen and other things on the other, how can I do this?!


Please help me as it cost me a bit of money!

I don't know about the 5500 but on my 6600 I have a nView icon on my try, I have to right click that and select my monitor, find the multi display tab and choose between clone/span/etc.

You may beable to access the same menu through the control panel -> display

Yeah I would do that lol butt its only detecting one monitor, I know the DVI output is working because it is cloning it, its just not seeing the other monitor

Go to the settings for the creens and click on the 2. Check expand my desktop on this screen. Make sure the Enable this monitor is checked
