Help need to build computer

The RAM is bad. Your going to use up all your DIMM slots, and you'll also have to run them at 2T, which is slightly slower than 1T. Get 2x512MB, and then at least you can upgrade to 2GB in the future.

I have that motherboard, and it is great. I didn't get the 3rd eye, although I may buy one to go with the board. Get the 6800GS instead of the 6800GT, it is way cheaper and despite having less pipelines makes up for it with a much more aggressive clock speed for the memory and the core.

You know, that Soprano case was at the top of my list for a new case too, but that top USB connectors did it for me. Now I'm going with the Lian Li cases. Check out if you get a chance. Look at all the ratings for any of their cases. You pay a lot too, but if you're willing to pitch in $170 for one, then you should get an idea on how these cases perform. Cooling wise, these cases are suppose to be superior.

Very nice reviews and some of those cases have CPU and PCI coolers!!!

For video cards, this is better than that 6800GT and it's only a few dollars more. This is what I would get: (this is a huge card so make sure the motherboard components won't interfere with this eVGA board)

One of the fastest 7800GTX 256MB cards. The 512MB are wayyy toooo high. Not worth it.
