Anyone have any suggestions? Since I have spent most of my budget on the computer I dont really know what the price range on these screens are. Im looking for a nice screen but has a fairly low price. Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestions.

Now that look into it I see that LCD's arnt as good for gaming as the big bulky ones (I dont know their names) So can anyone recommend a nice one of those?

Dell UltraSharp 2005FPW. One of the best LCD monitors EVER. Yes, it's a Dell, but only the stand and bezel are made by Dell, because the actual LCD display is made by LG. A bit expensive at $463, but well worth it.

For your assumed price range, this should be nice. The Dell UltraSharp 1704FPT LCD monitor. About $276.25, but if you search around and look for coupon codes, you can drop the price to under $200 easily.

ya a lot of ppl are thrown away by brand names on the outside, like most toshiba tvs have almost identical componenets to their sony counterparts. And lite-on cd drives are almostall based on sony parts.

Get this one. It's excellent at gaming:

ViewSonic VX922 Black/Silver 19" 2ms gray-to-gray (avg.); 2ms white-black-white (typ) LCD Monitor 270 cd/m2 650:1 0.294mm Pixel Pitch - Retail

The funny thing is the price has gone down significantly. When I bought this monitor, it was like in the upper $400 range with all the shipping and taxes. It's way good with pretty fast response time. Samsung models are pretty good too.

WOW, that looks like an awesome monitor. I have a Samsung and its got an 8ms response time. I have never noticed any ghosting. I can imagine on a 2ms monitor.
I wouldnt go with a CRT monitor if i were you. They are done, especially when monitors like this one come out at this price. Dont forget that a CRT monitor doesnt have a 0ms response time, it is also b/w 1-3ms i believe (u may wanna check that though). So the only thing that it has better than this monitor is resolution.

good luck!
