Celeron OC'd To 5Ghz

lol i'll convert it:
This is not anymore a secret, Intel will launch an army again processeurs in 2006. We invite you to reread this current event for more of details to this subject. Among these novelties, there is the core Cedar Mill that is in a way the successor of the Prescott single core, the Presler being awaited as the successor of the Pentium D and Pentium XE.

We had the occasion recently to have under the hand, thanks to sources taiwanaises met at the time of the Computex, a Celeron D 356 core Cedar Mill, engraved therefore in 65 nm. His origin frequency is of 3.3 GHz to a FSB of 533 MHz (133 MHz quad pumped) while the size of his mask L2 is of 512 Ko. We were not able to withstand the craving to divide with you our first impressions.

First noting, this processeur seems to heat less that the generation of the Prescott. With the dissipateur Intel Cubicle, the temperature brought up to 50°C in burn. It will be necessary more pushed tests to confirm it nevertheless. But the most interesting one is the overclocking capacity of this processeur. We have it in fact does to work to a FSB of 200 MHz be a frequency of 5017.6 MHz. This overclocking was realized while passing the Vcore of 1.3 to 1.45 volts and while using a ventirad Intel. We can climb again higher with a MORE PERFORMANCE ventirad. All this is good oracle while hoping that the Pentium 4 Cedar Mill, that will be endowed with 2 mask Mo L2, be so performance in overclocking. Some awaiting, we deliver you Great score PI 1M to 3.33 GHz and to 5 GHz.

A time of 28 seconds is a performance rather exceptional since if one consults the basis of Great data available PI to this address, one notes that to 5 GHz, the Celeron obtains the same time that an AMD Athlon FX-53 overclocké to 3 Ghz... If we find the time in the days to come, we will carry out other benchmarks with this processeur.

That's BS, I find it very hard to believe a CELERON could hit 5Ghz, and no processor known to man could hit it at 1.456Volts, that's default settings for any processor under like 2.5GHz. Besides a 6Ghz P4 is real and has a video and everything. At least a P4 would make a difference in the system, whereas any system that has a celeron in it sucks because it is sotre bought, or bought by cheap gamers. Another thing is that the Celeron sucks so much that it wouldn't make much of a difference anyways. They are the cheap of cheap, the kings of suck, and snails of speed.
