cd drive ide cable question

let's say that i have 3 cd drives. i connect 2 of them to one ide cable and one of them to another ide cable. will i still be able to burn a cd from a drive on the cable with 2 drives to a drive on the cable with 1 drive? will there be a loss of speed or information, or will it work just the same?

From what i've tried before, it should work fine. I reckon it works the same though but have a go, you shouldn't mess things up too much

it will be exactly the same as if it was on the same cable.
