I don't think you're grasping what dual core means. It means two processors on one die. One chip not two seperate cpu chips.
And the results of any head to head testing can be skewed by the operating systems and the apps that are being run for testing. Also there does appear to be major bias from testers as to which cpu chip comes out on top. And that comes from either camp.
