They stagger the launch dates. That's just like the original Xbox. When it first launched in 2001, only North America had it. Couple of months later, it launched in Europe and finally in 2002, it reached Japan. By then, everyone else was playing all the good games, while Japan was stuck with this black box and humongo controller and the launch only had some good games. I'll admit, the original Xbox was pretty darn ugly, but it's one hell of a machine.

Have you got the X-Box 360 yet then over there? We got that on December 2nd.
But Microsofts done very well to not delay the consoles launch.

I do suspect the Playstation 3 will be as powerful as the Xbox 360 anyway, but we'll see if the SPU's it holds on board can do well with game code in alot of areas. I don't think it'll be alot better like people so think. I doubt anyone would be able to tell at the end of it all.

Anyway, they'll have to keep it round about the same price as Xbox 360, though Sony people who have bought the Playstations of course wouldn't care, and would pay it even if it came out at £500 or something.
