AMD Seprom(tm) 2200+, ~1.5ghz
vs.
INTEL Pentium 630, ~3.0ghz

which one is the better overall processor?
I know that amd is supposed to own, but, i think my intel wins in this war..
and i do mean just general processing.. nothing in specific..

Sempron 2200+ wins, cause it's so much cheaper and consumes a lot less energy. If you wanted to pay the price of a Pentium 630, you would buy an Athlon 64.

Haha, it really depends. To be economic, the Sempron wins. It's a great combo of low price, good processing power and low power consumption. Like acphenom said, if you really wanted something like the Pentium 4, you would go with a Athlon 64 instead.

who compares a under 150 dollar processor to 300+ dollar processor................the p4 wins in some aspects. Just be happy arrizx u got a great computer.

lol, true, that. Socket-A Semprons have also been...well, can't think of the term now, but they aren't being made anymore. Pentium 4 vs. Socket-754 Sempron would be a better comparison.

lol. Who does that. Hey what wins:

my fx-57
or arrizx
intel 630
jk
GEEZE.....ill only compare to my intel pricepoint counterlevels.
