**Freezing Help**

Could somenone please help me my pc keeps on freezing like when i go out of a program it freezes and when i'm just doing normal stuff. I've scaned my pc and have deleted all the and stuff. What could be causing it.

OK. What are your temperatures and specs? And is anything overclocked?

Nah man its running cold and nothing is overclocked

XP?..........
Try system restore to narrow it down to what's causing the problem. Most likely a program you installed (bad install or bad program) that's causing it........
or you can do a non-destructive system recovery and see if that helps

Do you have the XP recovery discs for your system?
(If you bought a canned system it could also be on a hidden partition of your hard drive)..........
If so, fire up the PC with the first disk in your drive...........once initiated it will give you several options as what you would like to do. One of them is destructive and will wipe your disk clean and re-install WinXP (don't do this unless you absolutely have to and have your data backed up).........
The other is a non-destructive which will basically reinstall WinXP without disturbing your other files on your system.
