ok trying to figure this out. i have selected a mother board that i have decided to stick with but there is on thing i do not understand. the mobo interfaces with ata-100 but the drive is an ultra ata-100 what is the difference. i kind of looked around and read that your board has to support dma and i would need a separate controller card for the ultra is this true or is this board ready to for this drive. my bad if i am being retarded just a complete newbie and trying to learn thanks in advance -chad
and one more thing, the mobo also interfaces with: ata-33, ata-66 and ata-133 which is better what do these numbers mean??
