I would definitely say that is Ok for gaming. Just make sure you at least have 1gig of memory or more in there. It should at least be able to go up to 2gigs max. Using that laptop for all other types of apps would be pretty decent.
To the Pentium M fans, I wouldn't take a Pentium M for gaming unless it had a real good video card and at least 1 gig of memory. And for all those specs in a Pentium M, you are going to be paying at least $1300. So for $800, I would definitely go with that.
