Sleep Mode?

At night, I download game demos. After a while, my computer will go to the login screen and it will say (1 Program running). I launch back into my user name but eh downloads had been paused while the computer logged me off. How do I make sure this doesnt happen?

Right click, and properties. Set it so that it doesn't go to Welcome/Log on screen in Screensaver. Also, go to Power Mode, and stop your screen switching off. Then, when you wanna download, just switch the screen of by pressing the button
