I was browsing around and I landed on this modified copy of Windows XP Pro...well, it appears to be a Xtreme light version of what WinXP was originaally. All useless services are disabled, there is no annoying programd, no themes...or so I think..., no screensavers. The installation is a littlew different compared to the original install.... it looks like the Win2k installation...The space required is ~200-300MB...compared to ~995-1045MB

Obly the daily usage stuff are used...such as gaming, audio, networking and such.

MS should have done that with the services

Themes are fun man..

You can enable it...oh as for the others who want to be PMed, well...ask now! I have 2 right now

@1337, go to options in user CP to enable Private messages

I still use screensavers. I like the 3d Windows XP, but everytime it runs, my CPU temp goes up to like 42 degrees. Yikes, what a process!!!!!

Anyways, Windows Vista will have a lite version-I think.

ok i downloaded it from the site with the torrent software, now how do i open it, what with? it comes up with the program list
