Thanks for the link Computer Genius, I did what they said the whole "change the registery number to 0" and I actually tried that to all programs that seemed to be associated with Internet Explorer. Still doesn't work. Dammit this sucks so much.

boot in safe mode...the delete the IE folder then, install IE agaibn, still in Safe mode

Tried, I deleted the folder successfully. It wasn't there. I open the installer and it still says "There's already a newer version installed". I checked again, the IE folder was still not there in the Program Files folder.


Man this is insane.

I know, it happened to me. I got it to work this way:
Went to someone elses computer (my parents in this case)
then, took a blank cd
then, burnt the program to the cd
and put it in the comuter that you want it installed on
and go: my computer; cd drive; open the cd, and drag the files into the proper folder

Meaning copy and paste the IE folder?

If it doesn't work, delete your IE registry and folder then install it. If this doesn't work, Windows registries are corrupt and therefore, a reinstallation is now to be done
