Newbie......Nothing more needed...

I am new here and am trying to find some good advice on whether or not to go with an X2 64 or an fx-57. Any suggestions?

Well, first off, welcome to CF! Just two things to say: don't spam and have fun! Secondly.... it depends on what you want to do. If it's gaming, all out, my friend, on an fx-57. If you want future proof and great multitasking ability, go x2. It just really depends on what you want to do... a dual core will handle games just fine, but a 4800+ playing a game will just act like a 4000+.... yeah....

If you can get the X2, dual core all the way. It will be future proof for the next 2-3 years i would say
