Would it be possbile to have a more organized and less messy
Computer Hardware And Software?

Like have just Computer Software section
" " Hardware section
And something like a section just dealing and help for:
- Laptops
- Computer Build's/building
- Genral Computer hardware eg: Motherboards, PSU, RAM, Hard drives etc
- Video Cards, graphics
- Monitors
- Sound
- Cd/Dvd(drives)
- Programs
- Cases/Towers

<edit> and an Other

(Something like that ^)

But not sub forums, just under the normal section Computer Hardware.

no, because i know right now, i only look at the computer hardware, and social lounge.
two is enough to have to look through, but 10 thats way to much for me to handle

I don't think that would be so good.
It would look cleaner but for example

- Computer Build's/building
- Genral Computer hardware eg: Motherboards, PSU, RAM, Hard drives etc
- Video Cards, graphics
- Monitors
- Sound
- Cd/Dvd(drives)
- Cases/Towers

Most "help me build a pc" threads include most of those things.
So then there would be 7 threads instead of 1.

But something like Computer building, which would include everything to do with building a new computer/changing most of the parts. And another which would be like for "which vid card is better" threads.

Though this probably needs alot of developement before it would work well.

eg:

But be all under ONE section calling it something like ' Computer' or something THEN have those ~

The more complex the site the harder it is to navigate. The harder it is to navigate the less likely people will stick around or come back. The KISS method still is the best route to go.

how on earth is this going to make things look less messy?


As for having subforums inside of forums etc...
I don't think I'm keen on that either, Like Seti said, it just makes things harder to navigate.
