Amd, Intel, others?

I know of all the Amd, and Intel processors, but, are there any other brands that make processors. Because if there are i would like to know about them, just for the hell of it, thanks!

Didn't Mac use Motorola CPU's at one point? Or is the PowerPC a Motorola chip? I don't remember.
