A few questions on motherboard and case's.

Hey,

I'm building a gaming comp and am currently planning on using ASUS P4P800SE ATX Intel Motherboard

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131484

But I'm not really sure how good this is and people keep telling me that the motherboard is the most important part. Is this one good? or could someone recomend a good one thats not over $120?

Also, I hear that a good gaming case needs 450W+ does anyone have a link to a nice gaming case with this much power?

yeah your correct, i think the motherboard is the most important as well. After looking at the motherboard specs i think it will be ok .. how much RAM are you planning on using because the max on that board is 4 GB, Don't forget lol. It also has Dual Channel Supported RAM .. thats always a good thing :)

Good for graphics ... (AGP Slot)

It's always good to read reviews first.

Im planning on buying 2GB RAM, by duel channel does that mean I can buy 2 1GB's?

i see your going with a n intel, get amd for gaming, an amd 64 athalon, they own the new intels and inyour case the old intels, and cost less.

Ehhh, it's ok. Could be better. I personally love this one:

MSI 945P Neo-F Socket T (LGA 775) Intel 945P ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813130516

Faster FSB, dual core support, and higher DDR2 specs. Oh and one more thing. Newer socket.

DFI Lan Party!

And yes as someone else stated, hopefully you have an intel processor to go with that board, or maybe you overlooked that and have an AMD but your board is intel. Go with AMD, don't waste money on 2gb and all this other stuff and an Intel!
