Compare these 3 choices, and is it worth going with the more expensive one over the others, i dont know much about graphics cards but i want great gaming and dvd graphics but is it worth it paying that much more money? please give me as much info as possible, thanks!

1.256MB Nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX

2.Dual 256MB PCI Expressâ„¢ x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) nVidia GeForce 6800

3.Dual 256MB Nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX with SLI Technology

Well if you want a high end graphics card then go with the Geforce 7800GTX. The 6800 is a decent card and will most likely do a good job of playing games and watching dvds. It all depends how much you want to spend and what you are going to use it for... The 7800gtx in SLI would probably be overkill for the time being, but in the future games will start taking advantage of the dual GPU's. Plus that will probably be expensive but thankfully the 7800gtx 512mb edition has come out and will help knock down the prices of the 7800gtx 256mb edition. So it all depends on how much you play games and watch dvds. If you are a hardcore gamer then go for the 7800gtx if you have the money. Then wait a while for prices to drop and add the second 7800gtx in SLI and be prepared to be blown away.

for gaming go for the 7800GTX.
If u can spend alot the get 2x 7800GTX.
But I'd go with just 1 since it's capable of playing almost any games with the best possible settings (I'd gues that anything exept FEAR, which would run quite well at max graphics, no aa etc and with 1024x 768 reso)

Lets not forget you could build a fairly good computer for the price of two 7800gtx 512mb's .

On the other hand, the 7800GTX 512MB has some crazy clock rates when compared to the regular 256MB version:

GPU: Geforce 7800GTX
Core clock: 580MHz
PixelPipelines: 24

Memory Clock: 1750MHz
Memory Size: 512MB
Memory Interface: 256-bit
Memory Type: GDDR3
