What the hech is the differance?????? PLZ HELP!!

OK heres my question

Im making my own pc i sparred no expence as long as the final price was under $800 ok now heres the question im gonna go with a asus mobo and for prosesser i wanted to go with the amd athlon 64 3500+ but the problem was once i got to newegg to check it out i disscovered there was to i could get one was the venice and the other (with a lot cooler name i might add) the clawhammer the only difference i could see between the 2 was that the clawhammer had a different voltage can you tell me of any other differences and if the diffrent voltage would affect me and if it does plz help?

Clawhammer is the older architechture. It is probably a Socket 754 CPU...the Venice one is mch more better and uses the Socket 939

no I believe one(clawhammer) is at 130nm and ones(venice) at 90nm. The venice is newer get that, it is made using a newer better method.
