Pentium 4 desktop PC freezing unexpectidly. Help please.

Hmm, you need to look at temperatures. Look in the thread "Look here before you start your own thread" which is sticked, and follow the link to download Everest. Install Everest, and open it up. Then press the little + sign next to Computer, and then click on Sensor. Your temperatures should be there.

It also seems that the D850GB boards automatically shut down the processors to prevent damage when they reach high temperatures. So this COULD be a heat problem. I also know that int*l does not want people overclocking (or underclocking) their processors. I am currently trying to find software that can underclock my processor so that maybe there will be less heat.
