My virus scan found 3 viruses inside the archive, avg cannot delete them

how can I delete them?

I HATE java :(

I don't know what other information to give, let me know what you would need to know and I'll post it

many thanks

boot in safe mode and then scan again and it should be able to delete them.
Or then just delete the virus file. If it looks like something important (most likely in system 32) then think again since the virus might be just inside a file that u need. So deleting the whole file might screw up the system.

I agree with mammikoura, booting in safe mode is your best option to delete a file which won't allow itself to ...

thanks guys, i'll give it a go,

shall i do it without networking? just thinking because it's a java virus so might not delete if i'm online?

thanks

very strange, in safe mode avg didn't even find the viruses

could it be that they only hook on when i'm on the internet and java is working?

thanks

Well it's possible. Though I doubt it. Try safe mode with networking.
