well i bought a new motherboard, MSI K8N Diamond SLI, looks nice like

but now i need a shiny new pci-express graphics card...

these two are practically the same price so which is better?

asus 6800 or pny 6600GT (or any other card for 100GBP - thereabouts)

I would still take the 6800. It's a little more powerful than a 6600GT. More pipes. I know that the UK uses pounds, but never heard of it that way.

the 6800 would be a good card for that price. But if u can spend a little more get the 6800GS.

I would get the 6800GS yes, but if you have a coice of 6600GT and a 6800 non-gt go with the 6600GT.

The 6800 NU is a good choice. It comes in AGP or PCI-E and is easily modded.

The 6800 GS is a good card, but it's only in PCI-E and I think the pipelines are locked, so you can't unlock them like the 6800 NU can.

It should be fine. The 6600 GT is a great high-low end card. You'll easily play any game with decent frame-rates.

Look man, here's your options. Get a 256M card, please. If you game, you will regret the 128, believe me. And that card you're looking at probobly wont fit because the fan will hit the other PCI cards because it's so big. You don't need that big of a fan for a weaker card like that, trust me.
