Ok I'm not perfect but I got most of them and showed bob the door.
But this BS about mods goes on and on and on. You young guys need to be doing your studies first. Out chasing skirt and other teen stuff. Get out of the house for crying out loud. You guys spend way too much time in here. School first then play...
The way to get the job is not to ask for it. If you ask for it like webmonkey did and then a month later kiss it off then who's gonna be left standing? I think right now If I was David I would have a real bad taste in my mouth over that. Might be a little hesitant to install others right now.

How often does something drastic happen where a full time mod is needed? I think the place is running just fine as it is.

I WISH I could be a moderator again...I miss the glory days. Haha...if it wasn't for that "security issue" I would still be a moderator.

Well, I agree and disagree. First off, CF isn't bombarded 24/7 with spammers, idiots, etc. but we do get them sometimes. Secondly, people who don't come on for a while, like a real long while, really don't deserve the position. OK, sure, they might come on once in a while, for an hour, ok, that's fine... but they are people out there in this place who actually put a lot of time into learning about comps, into learning about troubleshooting, into learning about how to help people solve their problems, etc. and sometimes, when those people are on and a spammer comes on or a person like bobthelol comes on and spams, uses profanity, etc. and there are no mods to clean it up in time, those people who spend time on CF can all just really sit back and watch. Who knows what happens. Some kid might read the profanity and repeat it somewhere (which can get pretty bad, trust me). Some idiot might post gay porn in a thread (which I actually saw and could nothing about) and there are consequences that are unknown to some with that, and more. In my mind, the people who became a mod, spent a little time on here, and just left with their "status" all high and mighty just isn't cutting it. I thought in order to be a mod and stay a mod you have to be active, know a lot, are helpful, kind, etc. What's this? I see your point setis, but it just doesn't make sense to me to have this hierachy almost of these ranks and positions and have only a few people out of a whole list be actively participating... ah well.... just my thoughts...

OC Forums doesn't even have post counts. No one cares about post counts there...it's really the quality of the posts that matter, not the quantity.

The big time trouble makers are gone for the most part. This place is quiet compared to just 3 or 4 months ago. I gotta go beddy bye.

let me put it through the eyes of someone who see's what this read is Realy for


ill create a mod election thread because theres no way i can naturally shine and be noticed and nominated for mod without creating this lame ass thread. now creating a thread like this would naturally get locked so what ill do it keep digging for problems with current mods then keep commenting on there failures and staying away from what accomplishments they have done

to increase the success i wont use common sence and report the idle mods on msn to the site ill justw ait and complain

once i created a thread naturally every sad bugger will start highlighting there own great points about how they used to mod/admin other forums and how great they would be. while there doing that ill secretly hint about myself without making it so obvious my nominating people i in honestly dont actually want mod but it hides me being selfish

i dare you to argue (Oo i said a bad thing another fault you can put in your next thread your mods are to cocky)

That's why I've avoided these mod threads entirely. There's really no point in posting in them.
