New 7800GTX 512MB

That sucks I was hoping that they were going to be around $600 so I could use evga's step up program to get one. Eh I guess I will have to wait for the 7800gtx to drop a little more.
 
A waste of money. They'll probably be overoverkill for today's games and applications. Although I would love to see how high it benches though...:D

Yea, I heard that it's coming out in Q1 of '06, but I'll probably wait til I get a job and get the FX-64 with 3ghz.
 
maybe we'll split the cost and take turns using it, lol. That thing's too extreme for me. The price for the 512MB is making the 7800GTX 256MB price look real good right about now.

Also, Intel will release a new 975X chipset early next year that will support both Crossfire and SLi. Just want to throw that in there.

!!! i was planning to get that card. by the look of the price i can only afford one lol. hmmm hope the processors arent to much either because i gotta get one of those too and a new motherboard.
