Ram question: ddr2 same as ddr?

ddr is just a lower speed than ddr2. Amd will be using ddr2 with their new mobo's, the m2, coming out in 2006. But yeah, intel has been using ddr2 for quite some time now...

For now, anytime you see DDR2, it's for Intel based systems. AMD's finally going to DDR2 next year. Are they based on the same DDR2 as Intel? If so, we can use any RAM that Intel supports on an AMD system.
