uninstalling bf2 patch...HELP!!!

I downloaded and installed the newest battlefield2 patch, 1.03 i think... bf2 doesn't work anymore, it gets to the first bf2 screen with the tank and bf2 on it, then it quits back to the desktop. i would try system restore but it doesn't work. anyone know how to uninstall the patch? i tried uninstalling bf2, but it has an error and makes me start from the beginning, which is no help. also, i need a free partition managing system, anyone know of any that are free.(i cant find or use the one in windows so dont mention that one.)help uninstalling patch or bf2!!

that's weird, im not exactly sure what to do, you could try deleting the folder that it's in, but i dunno
