PhpBB is probably the best ... very good and pretty easy to use

Alright, so I'm having some trouble setting up the forum:

I'm not sure what information to put or where to find it. I used the PHP info page to view MySQL stuff, but none of the entries seemed to be what phpBB was looking for. Any help here? And what is the script path?

Of course! You guys can register if you want, but I'm using it for a project, so don't post anything yet. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it after the project though. I might follow through on the project and make it fully functional in which case it would be useless to you guys. If not, I might just make it a computer forum!

And yes, I would allow custom avatars.
