do you guys think I could run quake 4 on my system even though it is a tiny but under the minimum requirements?

I'd try. All computers have some kind of oomph for games, even if they are below requirements. I wouldn't expect you'd be able to run at high res's, you'd have to run at super low settings, and you may still get a jerk here and there.
But it would work...

the cheapest way to get a bump for quake is to buy a Geforce 6200 for dirt cheap and you then stand a major good chance of being able to play it without to much jerkyness and with some settings uped. Just my opinion tis what i would do to make sure.

Your card wont be directX9 compatible....My MX4000 wouldnt run pacific assault.

You have no chance of running quake on that system :(

is there a demo available just to try?

it says in the system requirements that it will run with a geforce3 ti

That video is onboard right?

I used to have that but recently upgraded to a 6800.

Alot of games say that it will be able to run on a geforce three or higher but on the bottom it says excluding Geforce4 MX.

i would say get a new video card.

Heres a 6200 which will let you play it:

A review said that this card could handle Quake 4 at low settings

A 6600gt is a MUCH better card that is able to handle most of todays games.

This card can run BF2 and HL2 on high settings.

A 6800 is what i decided to perchase. Now, I have a better computer that you do(no offense), so this card might be bottlenecked by your computer. This means that thee card cannot function fully due to the limitations of your system. The good thing about this card is that when you do upgrade, It will go nicely with your new system.

THESE CARDS WILL ONLY WORK WITH YOUR SYSTEM IF YOU HAVE AN AGP SLOT

If you only have pci, then alas, you dont have many choices.
Heres the best pci i could find:

This one would probsbly be able to hand Quake 4 at the lowest settings.

Hope this Helps!
P.S this is my first really helpfull post!
