Looking for some QUIET fans!

Yeah, wouldn't 30+ dba be a pretty high amount? Is the first one that ACDC ROX posted (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811999071) really quiet?

My current heatsink uses a CM12V (CoolMaster) fan on it; is it possible to just replace the fan and not the heatsink? Because if the heatsink isnt makin the noise, no sense in replacing it.

actually, 34dbA isnt that loud. My Antec Tricools are around that, and its just a nice low hum. The one that ACDC ROX only puts out 15CFM which is nothing seriously, skim to none. IMO that fan is a waste of money.

dzjunction, instead, i would go and buy a Zalman VF-700. The Zalman NB heatsink is praised like no other as a fanlass solution.
