im not sure if this is where this post goes, but my friend and I are trying to build a webpage and we were just using www.elated.com 's sitekit. the problem is, the background is supposed to be black, and it shows up white every time we upload it to the web

please help

could you link us to the page you are building and I'll hopfully be able to give you an answer...

most likely cause is that you want this code though...

<body bgcolor=#000000>

but like I say, without a better idea of what you are doing, (i.e what HTML version, if you're using CSS etc the answer is a little vague...)
