I just bought a WD SATA hard drive today and installed it. This is my 3rd SATA hard drive in this computer. The first two run on VIA SATA. My third one runs on Silicon.
When I booted my computer, the hard drive was detected in the boot sequence under the Silicon section. Windows XP loaded off my main drive as usual but my new drive is not in My Computer. I upgraded Windows to the latest Silicon driver and that did not help either. I looked under the SCSI and RAID controller section of Device Manager and found the drive's stats. Here is a screenshot:

Why do you think my drive is not being detected?
