Help: Computer Not Booting Up

Hello, i am in need of help, i really really need your help trying to solve my problem , here it is

I have amd athlon xp 2200+ and a Asus A7v266-E motherboard at revision 2.0, it suppose to be at 1.8 ghz, but its at 733 mhz, BUT after i exit the bios becasue when it boots up it automactialy goes to the BIOS saying how i shutted down wrong. I just got this new CPU and i dont know how to make my computer functional again. I really need your help, when i exit the bios it restarts but no display, and no "BEEP" sound. Please try your best guys into helping me out, thank you all!!!!

I didnt even connecct the HD, it is suppose to at least go pass the bios then it will say boot disk failure, but when i exit the bios, it suppose to restart boot up but then i dont get a display or a beep SOUND.

do you say that you have changed your cpu?
if so does yoir mobo support it?

the mobo should support athlon xp 1500-2600+, mine is a 2200+ so it should and yes before it was on a 1900+. i upgraded it
