Has anyone seen this before: When ever my mom reads an email message using Microsoft Outlook and closes it out, it is deleted from her inbox and does not show up in her deleted folder. Even if she just highlights it and views it in the view box on the bottom and then moves to the next message, the message she was previously viewing is deleted. I can't find anything on Microsoft's web site that pertains to automatically deleting messages once they are viewed. Might she have a virus?

Now that is weird....
I'm afraid I have no idea what it could be though, as I have scanned the Options also.
I'd try re-installing the program.
If you go to Add Remove Programs in the Control Panel, and go to Windows Programs, I think it should be listed there, or if not, in the standard, and then simply place the installation disc in and re-install.
Have you by any chance tried using Outlook Express though? Its a better alternative I think.
